Created with passion by Chef Charis Nikolouzos, the menu is a novel celebration of authenticity, inspired by the local culinary heritage of Santorini. Selene Antique Wine Caves
A different wine tasting experience in Santorini. The antique caves of Selene, is a special establishment, exporting wine even to Vatican for ages. Thematic wine tastings, curated by Yannis Karakasis MW, one of the 395 only Masters of Wine© of the World, set to explore Santorini’s wine culture. Experienced sommeliers will unveil the
secrets of the volcanic terroir and local vine varieties. You will compare and explore the style of various producers, locally but also internationally.

Selene Cooking & Tasting Classes
Selene’s aim, since 1986, has been the promotion of local products, Santorini, and the Cycladic cuisine. We have been trying to transmit this experience to our guests through cooking classes, food, olive oil tastings and menu degustation. Visitors are welcomed with a glass of wine while a presentation & tasting of the agricultural products of the island completes their knowledge of the farming life of Santorini. Also, they will enjoy the cooking of one easy making dish of the proposed course menu that they will of course afterwards, taste.
